Protests are continuing in other parts of the country over the violence that took place on the evening of January 5 at the Jawaharlal Nehru University in Delhi. In a series of protests, on Thursday, teachers and students belonging to JNU Students Union will take out a march in protest against JNU violence. According to the information received, this march will run from Mandi House to Jantar March. Regarding the march, teachers and protesting students say that JNU VC M. Jagdish Kumar should be removed immediately after this violence. At the same time, the whole matter should be investigated regarding violence.

In view of the march, Delhi Police has increased security outside Jawaharlal Nehru University. Security changes are deployed both outside and inside the campus.

According to sources, it may also be decided to close some metro stations in view of the situation during the march from Mandi House to Jantar Mantar. It is also coming to know that teachers and students can also reach Mandi House via buses to join the march, from where this march will start and go to Jantar Mantar.

Actor Dalip Tahil said on Wednesday about the JNU violence during a demonstration in Mumbai that violence at the Jawaharlal Nehru University was related to the Citizenship Amendment Act. The violence and now demonstrations in JNU are already set.
