Former finance minister Arun Jaitley has merged into the five elements. The Funeral of the late leader was performed at Nigam Bodh Ghat in Delhi, where many big leaders arrived to pay their last respects to this veteran leader, as well as people were gathered. Arun Jaitley’s son Rohan lit his pyre. Arun Jaitley’s body was kept in the BJP headquarters before the last rites. The body of Arun Jaitley was transported in an army truck to the BJP headquarters with state honors.
Significantly, Jaitley died at the age of 66 in AIIMS, Delhi on Saturday morning after a long illness. On August 9, Arun Jaitley was admitted to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) after complaining of shortness of breath. Here his health continued to deteriorate and he later had to be put on the live support system. After his death, Jaitley’s body was taken to his residence in Kailash Colony in Delhi, where various leaders including President Ram Nath Kovind and BJP President Amit Shah paid homage.
Leaders of all the parties, including Amit Shah, Rajnath Singh, Vice President Venkaiah Naidu, Smriti Irani, JP Nadda, Baba Ramdev, Nitish Kumar, and leaders of all parties, including Jyotiraditya Scindia, were present at Nigam Bodh Ghat. Earlier, leaders of other parties along with BJP paid the last tribute to Arun Jaitley at Nigam Bodh Ghat.
Earlier, Home Minister Amit Shah expressed his heartfelt condolences to Arun Jaitley’s family. On his Twitter handle of Amit Shah shared a video of Arun Jaitley’s journey. The body of Arun Jaitley was kept for the last darshan at 10:30 am at the BJP headquarters, where a large number of people paid their respects to the late leader. British High Commissioner Sir Dominic Asquith also paid tribute to the former Finance Minister.
