In his monthly radio program Mann Ki Baat, PM Modi has once again congratulated the people for Dussehra. PM Modi has said that Dussehra is also a festival of victory over crises. PM said that Dussehra is not only a festival of victory of truth over untruth, but also this festival is a celebration of victory over crises.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi once again said that the festival season is coming. During this time people will go shopping, you must remember the message of Vocal for shopping and buy local and indigenous goods. Prime Minister Narendra Modi while wishing Vijayadashami to the soldiers of the country, said that this time, light a Diya on the name of a soldier posted on the border on Diwali. PM Modi once again appealed to the people to follow physical distancing during festivals.
PM Modi for soldiers- “Even though you are on the border, the whole country is with you”
PM Modi said, “We also have to remember those brave soldiers who, at these festivals, are standing on the borders, serving and protecting Bharat Mata. We have to celebrate our festivals only by remembering them. We have to go home and should light a Diya in honor of these brave sons and daughters of Mother India. I also want to tell my brave soldiers that even though you are on the border, the whole country is with you, wishing for you, I also salute the sacrifice of those families whose sons and daughters are on the outskirts today.”
“Khadi is the hallmark of our simplicity”- PM Modi
Referring to Khadi, Prime Minister Modi said that Khadi is the hallmark of our simplicity, but our Khadi is now being known as Eco-friendly fabric. It is also a body-friendly fabric. The Prime Minister mentioned the city of Ohaca in Mexico and said that the Khadi there is famous as Ohaka Khadi. The PM said that a young man from Ohaka, Mark Brown, was so impressed with Gandhiji that he went to Mexico and started Khadi work.
The Prime Minister recalled Iron Man Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, his sense of humor. The PM said that just imagine the image of the Iron Man who was talking to the Raje-Rajwads and managing the mass movement. Amidst all this, his sense of humor was in full color. The PM said that no matter how bad the situation is, the person should keep his sense of humor alive.
