This information has been revealed in a new study. This study has been done by researchers from the University of Lübeck, Germany.
According to this study, the body helps to digest food in the morning rather than at night. This research has been published in ‘The Journal of Clinical Endocrinology and Metabolism’. According to the researchers, our body expands energy when we digest food for absorption, digestion, and nutrients.
This process, known as diet-induced thermogenesis (DIT), shows how well our metabolism is working and how it functions differently depending on the diet.
Correspondence author Julian Richter of the University of Lübeck stated, ‘Our results show that the food eaten at breakfast makes twice as high diet-induced thermogenesis than the food eaten at dinner. He said, “This research shows the importance of having good breakfast.”
