BJP has suffered a major setback amid Union Minister of State for Home Amit Shah's visit to Lucknow. BJP MLA from Sitapur Sadar Rakesh Rathore has joined SP in the presence of Akhilesh Yadav. Along with this, six BSP MLAs also joined the Samajwadi Party. Assembly elections are to be held in UP in the early month of 2022.

According to the information, during the meeting ceremony in the SP office, former CM Akhilesh Yadav included BJP MLA Rakesh Rathore as well as Salma Raini, Aslam Ali Chaudhary, Mujtaba Siddiqui, Hakim Lal Bind, Hargovind Bhargava, Sushma Patel in the party. Six BSP MLAs were expelled a few days back due to anti-party activities.

Cross voting in the election of Deputy Speaker

Let us tell you that during the election of Deputy Speaker in the UP Legislative Assembly, BJP MLA Rakesh Rathore had done cross-voting. On the other hand, pictures of the meeting between Rakesh Rathore and SP supremo Akhilesh Yadav also went viral on Thursday. At the same time, after getting all the members included in the party, Akhilesh Yadav held a press conference. During this, he said that public anger against BJP is increasing in Uttar Pradesh. The people of the state are upset with the BJP and its policies. People will wipe out BJP from here in 2022.

The SP supremo further said that the BJP should change its slogan. Instead of 'Mera Parivaar Bhajpa Parivaar', 'Mera Parivaar Bhaagta Parivaar should be used. Let us tell you that Akhilesh Yadav is continuously getting the leaders of BSP and Congress included in his party.

On Friday, Amit Shah said in a meeting of BJP workers in Lucknow that changing allegiance at the time of elections will not change the situation. The choice is on our heads. In such a situation, regardless of the ticket, we have to mobilize strongly.
