The trailer of Doordarshan, featuring Mahie Gill, Dolly Ahluwalia, Rajesh Sharma, and Manu Rishi Chadha, is out at this point. It takes the audience to the ’90s in a comical way.
The tale of the film spins around a grandma played by veteran actor Dolly, who is laid up and in a state of unconsciousness since 1989. In 2020, she out of nowhere returns to her consciousness and when the age has moved from viewing Doordarshan to digital entertainment, the grandma is as yet living before.
How the entire family goes frantic over the circumstance to make the universe of ’90s era in the family unit and grandma’s make-belief world makes the account funny.
Discussing the movie, director Gagan Puri stated, “The aim was to make a light-hearted film that entertains, at the same time is not frivolous. With such fantastic actors, we have achieved what we set out to make. I hope the audiences like it too.”
The film, created by Ritu Arya and Sandeep Arya Films, is scheduled to release on February 28.
