Lockdown will Continue with Minimum Impact, Restoration of Essential Services on top Priority Said- Mamata

Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee tweeted late Friday evening that the lockdown would continue even further with minimal impact.  Restoration of essential services will be a top priority.  She said that with several crises in the state, we have decided to increase the workforce capacity of the state government from 50 percent to 70 percent.  Continuing the restoration of essential services is one of the highest priorities and this workforce growth will ensure that public services continue uninterrupted.

Mamta tweeted one after the other.  She further said, 'Even in the private sector, I urge everyone to be safe and work as much as possible inside the house and to the best of their ability.  The ability of the workforce to decide and act accordingly lies with the management of the private entities concerned.

The Chief Minister wrote in the third tweet, 'The lockdown will continue with minimal effect.  Jute mills and tea gardens will be operational with 100 percent workforce capacity. She said – I am sure that with the cooperation and understanding of all of you, Bengal will emerge victorious! '
