Lockdown is now the main Security Cover for Uttar Pradesh

Lockdown has been implemented to prevent corona infection, and is now the main security cover.  In the ongoing churn from the central government level on the issue of extending or not extending the lockdown, most of the ministers of the Uttar Pradesh government are in favor of not opening the lockdown.  However, the decision has to be taken by the central government.

On Tuesday Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath held a meeting with cabinet ministers at Lok Bhavan and asked for suggestions.  According to sources, most of the ministers were not in favor of opening the lockdown at the moment.  Everyone feared that if there is a crowd gathering due to any reason, then there will be a risk of spreading corona infection.  Some ministers also suggested giving relief in lockdown on the basis of red, orange and green zones.  On Wednesday, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will take suggestions on this subject by meeting with the state ministers.  Then, based on the conclusion of all suggestions, he will send his proposal to the Central Government.

The lockdown period, which has been in operation for more than a month, ends on May 3.  Everyone is speculating on whether the lockdown will open from May 4.  At the same time, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has asked all states for a decision on this, along with an action plan for prevention of corona infection, as well as suggestions on lockdown.  Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has started a discussion with his ministers. He has said that the Deputy Commissioner of the District Industries Center, along with local medical officers, inspect these industries from time to time and keep an eye on the physical distance and sanitization etc.  Along with thermal screening of employees of the units, it has also asked to conduct RT-PCR test of some employees on a surprise basis.
