Lockdown in Pune for 10 Days from Today, Know the Rules

The government has once again declared a lockdown in view of the increasing number of cases of corona in Pune.

Things are getting worse in Mumbai, Pune and Thane. In this case, the government has declared a lockdown for 10 days in Pune. The lockdown will be in force from Monday, July 13 to July 23. The effects of the lockdown can also be seen in Pune. Only essential services will continue during the lockdown.

 Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra Ajit Pawar has said that when people do not follow the rules, then some decisions like this (lockdown) have to be taken. He said: 'We have announced the lockdown in Thane. Pawar said that if we have to break the peace of the corona, then we have to make sure that there is no contact between each other.

Lockdown will Happen in Two Stages

Lockdown will be implemented in Pune in 2 phases. The first phase will be from 13 July to 18 July and the second phase will be from 18 July to 23 July. During this period, only medical stores, dairies and hospitals will be open. Pune Municipal Commissioner Shekhar Gaikwad said those who distributed newspapers during the lockdown would be exempt. He also said that the service of essential items will continue in the next phase of lockdown.

Curfew in Nanded

A strict curfew has also been declared in Nanded in Maharashtra today. The official notification states that the curfew will start from midnight on July 12 to midnight on July 20. According to the guidelines of the district administration, the service of essential commodities will continue during the curfew. Medical services and government offices will open normally during this period. Ration shops, milk shops and LPG cylinder supplies will continue as per the stated time. The lockdown has been extended till 19 July in Thane.

World Wide Cases

So far, 12 million 35 thousand 942 people have been found infected with coronavirus in the world. Of these, 75,82,035 people have been cured or discharged. At the same time, 571,571 have died.

The World Health Organization (WHO) on Sunday reported 2,30,370 new cases. The highest number of cases were reported from the USA, Brazil, India and South Africa. During this time more than 5000 people also lost their lives. Earlier on July 10, 2,28,102 cases were reported.
