He also said that the package of Rs 15,000 crore fixed by the Center for the states against the Corona virus is insufficient and in such a situation the Modi government should provide adequate financial support to the state governments. The Chief Minister said that from April 15, farmers will be relaxed in lock down for harvesting crops and social distance will be taken into consideration.

"We did lockdown first and later imposed curfew," Singh told reporters via video link, then arranged to deliver the necessary goods to the people. Our people are reaching every locality and providing essential items. Now most people have come out of the isolated habitat. "The situation is under control at the moment," he said. Infection was confirmed in 132 cases and 11 people have died. A total of 2877 people were investigated. "Singh, hinting at increasing the lockdown in the state, said that his government was seriously considering increasing it as it was not an appropriate time to lift the restrictions."

He said that the decision regarding lockdown would take place in the cabinet meeting. Amarinder Singh said that the lockdown cannot be done for an indefinite time, so the government is looking at ways to start functioning. He said that an Empowered Committee has been constituted to formulate a strategy for the corona virus crisis and a decision will be taken on the basis of its report.
