The entire country is under lockdown due to Corona virus. This has had the greatest impact on the workers. They face a livelihood crisis. In the time of this crisis, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has decided to help the laborers financially. 611 crore rupees were sent to 27.5 lakh MNREGA laborers of the state.

Actually, the central government has increased the wages of MNREGA workers from Rs 182 to Rs 202. After this, this increased wage amount has been given by the Yogi government. Earlier, the Yogi government had given a support amount of one thousand rupees to 20 lakh daily laborers.

Earlier, CM Yogi Adityanath had said that instructions have been issued to give one month free groceries to about 1 crore 65 lakh 31 thousand laborers registered in Antyodaya Yojana, MNREGA and Labor Department. These families will get 20 kg wheat, 15 kg rice free. Apart from this, two months advance pension is being given to 83.83 lakh people availing pension.

At the same time, while talking to 1.63 lakh BJP workers through video conferencing on Sunday, CM Yogi Adityanath had said that all BJP workers should tell the people about the Prime Minister's poor welfare package. 1.75 lakh crores has been released through this package. The Chief Minister called upon the workers to provide maximum necessary facilities to the people in view of the epidemic of Kovid-19.

Talking to BJP workers, CM Yogi Adityanath had said that 80 crore laborers across the country will get 5 kg wheat or rice and 1 kg pulses of choice every month for the next three months. 20 crore women Jan Dhan account holders will get 500 rupees every month for the next three months. The wages under MNREGA have been increased from Rs 182 to Rs 202 per day, benefiting 13.62 crore families.
