 Step 1:

To prepare this easy recipe, take a large bowl and mix all the ingredients except ghee/oil little by little. Now add water to it and make gram flour very stiff and knead it like flour and make separate rolls.

 Step 2:

Take out curd or buttermilk in another vessel and make sure to dissolve a little gram flour with the help of water.

 Step 3:

Now turn on a gas and place a large pan on medium flame and boil water in it. Once the water is in boiling state, put the gatta rolls in the water and let them cook for ten to fifteen minutes.

Once cooked, put these gattas in a sieve and keep their water for gravy. Place them on a chopping board and cut them into one-inch pieces for curry.

 Step 5:

Now heat a pan on medium heat and add mustard oil to it. After the oil is well heated, add chopped gatta to it and fry till it becomes golden. Now keep them aside.

 Step 6:

Now place the second pan on the gas and heat some oil in it. When the oil is hot, add celery, mustard seeds, cloves etc. and fry it lightly.

 Step 7:

Now add chopped onion to this roasted spice and fry for 2 to three minutes. Add the prepared mixture of buttermilk or curd and let it cook for 5 to 7 minutes. Now add the gatta and the remaining gatta water.

 Step 8:

Now keep cooking it till the gravy thickens. Once the gravy is thick, add garam masala to it and let it cook on low heat for 3 to 5 minutes. After covering it for some time, serve it hot. You can serve it with rice, paratha or chapati.
