Vikas Dubey, a notorious gangster from Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, was killed in an encounter on Friday. But now the information is coming that a constable riding in a SUV coming from Ujjain with Vikas Dubey has been found infected with coronavirus. An official told news agency PTI on condition of anonymity that late Saturday night, the constable was reported to have been infected with the coronavirus. He is admitted to the hospital for treatment.
The officer said that four more policemen were in the same SUV vehicle. The SUV coming from Ujjain carrying Vikas was suddenly uncontrolled and overturned near Kanpur. After this, Vikas, who was allegedly trying to escape, was killed by the police. The infected constable also suffered injuries during the encounter. A health official said that the people who came in contact with the constable are being traced.
