Due to the re-modeling of the railway station yard of Dehradun, the capital of Uttarakhand, the railway has cancelled 14 trains and has decided to partially halt six trains. Passengers will have to wait till February 2020 for the commencement of stopped trains. In view of festivals, due to the closure of these trains, people may have to face a lot of trouble. According to the information, some of the partially closed trains will run from Haridwar, Najibabad and Aligarh stations. It has been decided to discontinue the services of these trains for the expansion and Re-modeling work of Dehradun station.
According to the list of closed or partially closed trains, the Dehradun-Amritsar Express (14631) train will remain closed from November 10 to February 6, 2020. The Amritsar-Dehradun Express (14632) train will remain closed from November 9 to February 6. The Ujjain-Dehradun Express (14309) train will remain closed from 13 November to 6 February. The Dehradun-Ujjain Express (14310) train will remain closed from November 12 to February 05. The Indore-Dehradun Express (14317) train will be closed from November 9 to February 9 and the Dehradun-Indore Express (14318) train from November 9 to February 8.
The Jammutavi-Haridwar Express (14606) train will be closed from November 10 to February 2 and the Haridwar-Jammuutavi Express (14605) train from November 11 to February 3. The Bandra-Dehradun Express (19019) train will be closed from 8 November to 6 February and the Dehradun-Bandra Express (19020) train from 10 November to 8 February. Saharanpur-Dehradun Passenger (54341) train will be closed from November 11 to February 8 and Dehradun-Saharanpur Passenger (54342) train from November 11 to February 8. The Madurai-Dehradun Chandigarh Express (12687) train will be closed from November 6 to February 2 and the Dehradun-Chandigarh Madurai Express (12688) train from November 11 to February 7.
The New Delhi-Dehradun Shatabdi Express (12017) train will be closed from Dehradun to Haridwar from 10 November to 7 February. The Dehradun-New Delhi Shatabdi Express (12018) train will remain partially closed from November 10 to November 7. This train will run till Old Dehradun. The Shriganga Nagar-Haridwar Intercity Express (14712) train will remain closed from 10 November to 07 February from Ambala Cantt for some time and after Ambala Cantt to Haridwar, the train was canceled. Similarly, the Amritsar-Haridwar Jansabtabadi Express (12054) has been closed for some time from 10 November to 7 February from Saharanpur and was canceled between Saharanpur to Haridwar. Similarly, Haridwar-Amritsar Janshatabdi Express (12053) will run from Old Saharanpur from 10 November to 7 February.
