  • 1/4 cup water

  • salt to taste

1- First of all, beat the curd well.
2- Now put semolina and curd in a vessel and mix it well.
3- Now add some water and salt and beat it.
4- Keep this mixture covered for about 20 minutes.
5- After 20 minutes, add a little soda to the mixture and mix it well.
6- Keep in mind that your batter is neither too thick nor too thin.
7- So, Now put 2 small glasses of water in the cooker and keep it on the gas to heat.
8- Grease the idli stand with oil and pour the batter with a spoon.
9- So, Now collect the idli stand and keep it in the cooker and remove the whistle, and put the lid of the cooker.
10- Idli will be cooked in 8 or 10 minutes. Open the cooker and check with a knife by inserting idlis.
11- If the batter does not stick to the knife, then idlis are ready.
12- Now Remove the idli from the stand and serve it immediately.
13- You can eat them with sambar, coconut chutney, or peanut chutney.
