The daily statistics of uncontrolled corona infection in the country is now getting scary with every passing day. Every day new corona patients are setting a new record. According to the Union Health Ministry, 29429 new coronavirus cases have been reported across the country in the last 24 hours i.e. from 8 am Tuesday to 8 am Wednesday, which is the highest number of cases recorded in a single day. With these new cases, the total number of coronavirus patients in the country has now risen to 9,36,181.
Not only is the spread of infection of coronavirus increasing in the country, but the number of people who are losing their lives due to it are also increasing continuously. According to the Ministry of Health, during the last 24 hours, 582 people died due to corona in the country and a total of 24,309 people have lost their lives due to this virus so far.
However, with the increase of coronavirus infection in India, the numbers of people recovering from corona are also increasing rapidly and so far a total of 5,92,031 people have been cured across the country. During the last 24 hours, 20,572 people across the country have recovered from Corona. Coronavirus recovery rate in the country has crossed 63 percent.
Testing for the identification of corona patients has increased in the country and now more than 3 lakh tests are being conducted in the country every day. According to the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), more than 3.20 lakh corona tests have been conducted in the country on Tuesday and so far more than 1.24 crore tests have been done in the country. India is the highest corona testing country in the world after USA and Russia. India has also overtaken Britain in the matter of testings.
Speaking of coronavirus cases globally, the total number of cases worldwide has reached over to 1.34 crore, so far more than 5.81 lakh people have died due to coronavirus worldwide. However, more than 78.47 lakh coronavirus patients have been cured all over the world. The highest numbers of cases of coronavirus in the world are in the US, where more than 35.45 lakh cases have been reported and more than 1.39 lakh people have died, followed by more than 19.31 lakh cases in Brazil and 74 thousand deaths. In Russia too, more than 7.39 lakh cases have been reported and more than 11 thousand people have lost their lives.
