"Students should be promoted without examination"- Madan Mohan Jha

Bihar Congress has protested against the University Grants Commission (UGC) order to take the exam during the Corona period. Terming it as a 'Tughlaqi' decree, the Congress has demanded its immediate withdrawal. Bihar state president of Congress Madan Mohan Jha said that today India has reached the third position in the world in terms of corona infection and UGC is taking orders from students to take the exam. Describing the order as a 'Tughlaqi' decree, he has demanded that the government should withdraw it soon. Jha said that all students should be promoted without examination.

"Economic crisis has occurred in the Corona era"

Here, Rajya Sabha MP and Bihar Congress Election Campaign Committee chairman Akhilesh Singh said that along with UGC, the Center and the state government are also doing injustice to the students. Students should be promoted by canceling the examination of all universities and colleges in Bihar. He said that the government should waive all the fees of students. Economic crisis has occurred in the Corona era, in such a situation, it would not be right to charge any kind of fee.

Here, senior Congress leader and former Youth Congress state president Lallan Kumar said that following the UGC's order would endanger the lives of millions of students, teachers and non-teaching staff. He said that if the UGC has to follow its order then the Human Resource Department and the UGC should take the guarantee of life of the students. He said that during the Corona era, the Bihar government is implementing a lockdown and the UGC is eager to take the exam. It is noteworthy that UGC has ordered the students to take the exam.
