Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi, who is hearing several important cases including Ayodhya, Sabarimala and RTI, is scheduled to retire on November 17. Earlier, he appointed the new Chief Justice S.A. He has given the job of listing important cases to Bobde. CJI Ranjan Gogoi now has only 5 working days left.

CJI Ranjan Gogoi succeeded his successor S.A. Bobde has been given the listing of all such important cases, which are to be heard immediately. In such a situation, it is clear that a decision can be taken soon on a sensitive matter like Ayodhya. While hearing the case, the apex court reserved the verdict on 16 October.

CJI Ranjan Gogoi had said that at least one month is needed to write the verdict. He is scheduled to retire on November 17. In such a situation, a decision can be taken on important matters including Ayodhya any day before that. There are many important cases like Ayodhya, RTI, Sabarimala and Rafael Deal, on which the decision of the Supreme Court will be very important in terms of political and social scenario in the country.
