In the case of Kulbhushan Jadhav jailed in Pakistan, India has demanded consular access from Pakistan without any restrictions. This demand has been made from Pakistan on behalf of India before filing a review petition in the International Court of Justice (ICJ). According to the ICJ, there should be consular access and independent trial.

India told Pakistan that during consular access, you cannot just choose English as the language of conversation. India wants Pakistan to allow two officials to meet Kulbhushan Jadhav. Earlier the Indian Foreign Ministry had said that we will use our legal options to save the life of Kulbhushan Jadhav.
