Amazon founder and CEO Jeff Bezos was in India a few days ago. He has announced a $ 1 billion investment in India for small business. Bezos said that the company will soon launch electric delivery rickshaws in India.
Jeff Bezos tweeted a video in which he is seen driving an electric rickshaw. He has said in his tweet, 'Hey, India. We're rolling out our new fleet of electric delivery rickshaws. Fully electric. Zero carbon.'
Jeff Bezos has also put a hashtag of climate change in his tweak. This is a part of the company's move towards climate change. A contravention also started after the Amazon founder came to India. Piyush Goyal said in a program that Bajos are not doing India any favors by investing.
After this statement by Piyush Goyal, Amazon founder Jeff Bezos posted an open letter. In this, he told about his commitment and investment about India. He has said that with an investment of 1 billion dollars, he has set a target of giving 1 million jobs in India in the next 5 years.
Jeff Bezos has met many people during his three-day India visit. During this, he has also talked about participation from thousands of grocery stores in India. The company will use these grocery stores as a delivery point.
Amazon will deliver products in India through electric rickshaws.
