Polling in 199 Assembly constituencies of the state will be held from 8 AM to 5 PM on 7th December. Chief Election Officer Anand Kumar has appealed to the voters of the state to vote without any fear, greed, and pressure, fearlessly to strengthen the country's democratic system.
He said that all necessary preparations have been completed for an independent and peaceful election. Kumar said that from the time of polling, 48 hours prior to the end of the poll from 5 am to 7 pm, 5 pm, by political parties or candidates to organize public meetings, procession, cinema, Doordarshan or electronic media through campaigning But there will be complete restrictions. There will also be restrictions on election campaign by organizing music, celebration, drama, acting or any other entertainment program. Candidates can go from house to house through public relations.
