The tableau proposal of Kerala has been refused permission for the Republic Day parade on 26 January this year. Kerala had proposed a theme incorporating the traditional art form, reflecting the state's art and architecture. Note that Kerala is the fourth state whose proposal for tableau has been rejected for the upcoming Republic Day parade. Earlier, the Ministry of Defense had rejected the tableau proposals of Maharashtra, West Bengal and Bihar.

As soon as the new year arrives, preparations have started for the celebration of Republic Day. On 26 January, the annual parade will be held in the country's capital Delhi on the occasion of Republic Day, in which the world will see the power of the Indian Army. In addition to India's military strength, the culture is also shown in this parade, where the tableaux of states and ministries are seen. This time the tableau of West Bengal and Maharashtra will not be seen in this parade, on which political ruckus has started.

Both the states are currently ruled by non-BJP parties, due to which a feeling of revenge is being accused. In such a situation, it is important to understand how the tableaux are selected for the Republic Day parade

The Ministry of Defense has full responsibility for the Republic Day parade. Those who watch its arrangements, security, parade, tableau etc. Since the chief guest in this program is the President of the country, who is also the head of the three armies, the Ministry of Defense keeps all the responsibility.

Suggestions are sought from all states, central ministries and union territories for the display of tableaux in the Republic Day parade. After which a committee prepares the final list under a selection process.
