The number of corona patients in Delhi has crossed 500 figure. Meanwhile, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has requested Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Gautam Gambhir to get the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) kit. Actually, Gautam Gambhir has given financial assistance of 50 lakh rupees. On this, Kejriwal said that we need PPE not money.
CM Arvind Kejriwal said, 'Gautam ji, thank you for your proposal. The problem is not the availability of money but of PPE Kits. We will be grateful if you help us to get us from anywhere immediately. Delhi government will buy them. Thank you.'
Earlier, BJP MP Gautam Gambhir wrote a letter to CM Arvind Kejriwal. In this, he said, 'You and your deputy CM said that money is needed and i tried to give 50 lakh rupees from my MP fund, but it has not been accepted yet. I want the common man to have no problems, so take the money and arrange medical equipment.
According to the latest data from the Health Ministry, 505 new cases have been reported in the last 24 hours. In this way, the number of corona infected patients in the country has increased to 3666, while 109 people have died so far due to its grip. Talking about Delhi, 58 new cases have been reported here in the last 24 hours.
The number of corona positive patients in Delhi has increased to 503. There have been seven deaths in Delhi while 18 have been cured. The doctors of Cancer Institute, Sargangaram, Sardar Patel Hospital, Delhi AIIMS and Mohalla Clinic in Delhi have also come under the grip of Corona. Because of this, there is an atmosphere of fear among doctors.
