Kaun Banega Crorepati-13 host Amitabh Bachchan was asked by a GST inspector if he was honest in his tax transactions. When Sandhya Makhija of Rajkot was sitting on the hot seat of the show, she asked this question to Amitabh. Sandhya explains her work to the host of the show and says that she takes out the bad guys who don't pay taxes and fines them. Sandhya is a State Tax Inspector by profession.
Amitabh Bachchan asked him on the show what does a 'State Tax Inspector' do? Then Sandhya replied, "Sir, I am a State Tax Inspector in the GST department. And my job is to help the good people by making things easy and make life difficult for the bad ones. I am an honest taxpayer. I help and keep an eye on black money holders.
Amitabh said, 'So you turn bad people into good people? And if people don't pay GST on time, they are fined for it?" Sandhya said that they could be fined up to Rs 10,000, and asked Amitabh, "Sir, Have you given your GST?" Amitabh was shocked to hear this. He looked around and said, "Devi Ji, if I had not filled, I would not have been allowed to sit here. People like you would grab us and lock us up. . Sandhya could reach only 40 thousand rupees question but, due to wrong answer she could win only 10 thousand rupees.
Kaun Banega Crorepati-13 has started last month. Amitabh is hosting this show for the twelfth time. He has hosted all except one season of this famous game show. Let us tell you that one of its seasons was hosted by Shahrukh Khan. This season already two people have attempted the Rs 1 crore question. This week a third contestant will face this question. In this show, only one contestant has made it to the jackpot of Rs 7 crore.
