Tarigami: Removal of 370 without asking, completely wrong

Mo. Yusuf Tarigami said that we got the full opportunity to make our point. The Prime Minister listened to our words carefully and assured that they will be implemented. But, in this meeting that lasted for 3 hours, we have not got a concrete answer, as we expected. We demand rights by staying within the ambit of the law. We demand the release of the jailed people, they are in a lot of trouble.

He said that all of us told the Prime Minister that what happened in Kashmir should not have happened. Article 370 and 35-A removed without asking us, this is completely wrong. Jammu and Kashmir was made a Union Territory, due to which there is resentment among the people.

It was also said that this meeting was called before the removal of Article 370, had we been informed about this decision, the results would have been better.

Sajjad Lone: This is the first conversation, not the last

People's Conference Party founder Sajjad Lone said that everyone spoke openly in the meeting. It would not be good that I tell you about a particular person, who said what in this meeting. All I would say is that the round of talks has started and it will be resolved by sitting together, because this was the first conversation and not the last. Even then there will be talks.

Lone said that I will not comment on the leaders of Gupkar. The problems of the people of Kashmir have been openly placed in front of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Home Minister and Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir Manoj Sinha was also informed. How long these problems will be solved, it will be seen only in the coming time. Pakistan's name was taken in the meeting, I did not hear that. Jammu and Kashmir should get full statehood now. That is our right.
