With two hit releases and two more films in his kitty, Kartik Aaryan is on a roll. The actor was seen in comedies recently talked about being inclined to doing thriller as compared to his acquired genre. Kartik recently in an interview confessed he would like to play Shah Rukh Khan's role in Darr or Baazigar if a remake was ever made.
Kartik has previously shown interest in playing grey characters, he said he is eager to play a bad guy. When a fan asked when will the audience see him playing a villain, Kartik immediately promised, "Soon enough."
"I just feel like I would enjoy doing a thriller more than Comedy. Of course, comedy is happening and I have fun while shooting it but as an actor, I am more inclined towards exploring the thriller genre. So I will soon do something in that space for sure," he added.
He further said that his choice in TV shows has something to do with it, "Whenever I watch shows like, Breaking Bad or Black Mirror I feel like, I want to do something like that. Comedy is happening on its own but thrillers are something I want to make it happen."
Aaryan is currently shooting in Delhi for Imtiaz Ali's Love Aaj Kal sequel with Sara Ali Khan. He will also be seen with Bhumi Pednekar and Ananya Pandey in the remake of Sanjeev Kapur's film, 'Pati Patni Aur Woh'.
