Karnataka : Number of Coronavirus Infected Crosses 900 Figure, 42 New Cases Reported

After 42 new cases of corona virus have been reported in Karnataka, the infected cases have crossed 900 figure in the state. The Health Department said that where not a single case was reported in Hassan, 5 cases are reported there now.

"42 new cases of Covid-19 were reported from yesterday evening till 12 noon today," the department said in the bulletin. So far, 904 cases of Covid-19 have been reported and these include 31 people who lost their lives and 426 who have been discharged from hospital after recovery. "Of these new 42 cases, there are at least four children.

Karnataka and Kerala, meanwhile, discussed steps to prevent the spread of the corona virus and stressed the need for better treatment to patients and information sharing to prevent the epidemic. He also discussed the challenges arising after the relaxation of lockdown restrictions and their solutions. It said that in this discussion that lasted for 50 minutes, the two ministers also discussed ways to prevent the epidemic, its treatment and shared the details with each other. The two ministers also agreed to keep in touch regularly and exchange information related to disease control and better treatment of patients.
