After 42 new cases of corona virus have been reported in Karnataka, the infected cases have crossed 900 figure in the state. The Health Department said that where not a single case was reported in Hassan, 5 cases are reported there now.
"42 new cases of Covid-19 were reported from yesterday evening till 12 noon today," the department said in the bulletin. So far, 904 cases of Covid-19 have been reported and these include 31 people who lost their lives and 426 who have been discharged from hospital after recovery. "Of these new 42 cases, there are at least four children.
Karnataka and Kerala, meanwhile, discussed steps to prevent the spread of the corona virus and stressed the need for better treatment to patients and information sharing to prevent the epidemic.
