Mumbai: Karisma Kapoor has made her debut with the film 'Mentorship' on the digital platform. This film has been well liked by the people. But during the promotion of this film, Karisma has made such revelations about her life, which everyone is surprised to hear. In this interview, she said that her life had become very painful after marriage. She was tortured a lot by her in-laws and finally Karishma separated from husband Sanjay Kapoor. Karisma was last seen in the 2012 film 'Dangerous Ishq'. The film flopped badly and after that she distanced herself from films.
In an interview to IB Times, Karishma revealed the secret of her life, which everyone cannot hear without being shocked. Karisma told- "While we were on our honeymoon, Sanjay charged me with his friends. He forced me to spend one night with his friends. When I was not ready for it, Sanjay started fighting with me".
Karishma suddenly married Delhi-based businessman Sanjay Kapoor in 2003 after making a distance from films. At that time, Karisma was very confident about her life and was moving forward, but after about 5-6 years of marriage, the distance started coming to life. Karisma divorced Sanjay Kapoor in 2016 and they split.
Karisma, however, did a love marriage to Sanjay, but it could not succeed. Karisma and Sanjay started their feuds with honeymoon. On their honeymoon, Sanjay had signed his wife with his friends and told Karishma to sleep with her friends.
Her mother-in-law's dealings with Karishma were not good in the in-laws. She used to raise her hands on Karisma. Not only this, Sanjay used to tell his brother to keep an eye on his wife Karishma. Karishma told in the interview that Sanjay used to get hyper on small talks and started hitting her. They finally decided to end their marriage in 2012 and moved to Mumbai to live with mother Babita with both their children.
According to the news, Karisma and Sanjay were divorced by mutual consent. Sanjay had a trust of 10 crores for the children and gave Karishma a bungalow to live in. Sanjay also spends on the education of his two children.
