Former Indian captain Kapil Dev, while picking his ‘Kapil XI’ ODI team, clearly said that one can replace MS Dhoni’s spot in his side. Kapil then selected an ODI team which included MS Dhoni as the wicketkeeper-batsman. He clearly said that no one can replace Dhoni’s place in his team. He included Sachin Tendulkar, Rahul Dravid in his team, then Kapil also included Virender Sehwag, Yuvraj Singh, Zaheer Khan and current team India captain Virat Kohli in his team.
No one can replace MS Dhoni: Kapil Dev
Kapil said that there is a lot of difference between Test and ODI matches and if it is about ODIs then definitely Sachin, Sehwag, Virat, Rahul Dravid, Yuvraj Singh will be in my team. As a wicketkeeper in my team, only Dhoni will be there and no one can replace him. He then selected Zaheer Khan, Srinath and Jaspreet Bumrah as the fast bowlers in the team. As a spinner, he replaced Anil Kumble and Harbhajan Singh in the team.
