Once again Hollywood has made its mark on Bollywood. The Hollywood film 'Jumanji – The Next Level', released on Friday, has grossed well ahead of Bollywood films. Jumanji has outperformed Mardaani 2 in the opening weekend. The film had an opening of 5.05 crores, while earlier on Thursday it collected 1.15 crores through paid previews. After this, the film collected 8.35 crores on Saturday and collected 10.10 crores on Sunday. In the opening weekend itself, the film achieved an amount of 24.65 crores. Jumanji has been released in India in addition to English, Hindi and some regional languages. According to trade experts, 'Jumanji The Next Level' has done better business than its prequel 'Jumanji -Welcome to the Jungle', which raised 15.84 crores in the opening weekend.
'Jumanji – The Next Level' is directed by Jake Cassden. The film stars Dwayne Johnson, Jack Black, Kevin Hart, Karen Gillan and Nick Jonas. This is the fourth film of the Jumanji franchise. Jumanji is an adventure comedy thriller film.

Gopi Putheran directed and Rani Mukerji starrer 'Mardaani 2' has collected more than 17 crores in opening weekend, while Emraan Hashmi and Rishi Kapoor's film 'The Body' was able to raise around 2.50 crores in 3 days of release. The suspense thriller 'The Body' is the official remake of the Spanish film. The film stars Shobhita Dhulipala and Vedika Female in the lead roles.
