The tussle between Congress and BJP is continuing amidst tension on the Indo-China border. On the allegations of former Congress President Rahul Gandhi, BJP National President JP Nadda on Monday replied that Rahul Gandhi is doing what no responsible leader of the opposition should do. He alleged in his tweet- "Rahul Gandhi has not attended a single meeting of the Standing Committee on Defense Affairs, but sadly, he is constantly discouraging the country and questioning the valor of our forces." Rahul Gandhi is doing everything that no responsible leader of the opposition should do."

The BJP president said, "Rahul Gandhi belongs to a glorious dynastic tradition where committees do not matter in defense matters, only commission's work. There are many capable people in Congress who understand parliamentary affairs, but such leaders will not be pushed forward due to the dynasty. Very sad. "

Home Minister Amit Shah has also criticized Rahul Gandhi's statements on the India-China dispute. In an interview to ANI, the Home Minister said that the Congress leader should stop doing petty politics. Shah said that Parliament has to be done, if we want to discuss, let's do it. From 1962 till today there should be a face-off. He said that when the soldiers of the country are struggling, the government is taking correct steps by taking a stand, and to make Pakistan and China happy, such statements should not be given to anyone.
