US Democratic Party's Presidential candidate Joe Biden has said that if he wins the election in November, he will end the temporary suspension applied to H-1B visas. Let us tell you that this visa is most popular among Indian IT professionals. On June 23, the Trump administration suspended H-1B and other foreign work visas until the end of 2020.

Biden praised H-1B visa holders' contribution in the US:     

Biden praised the contribution of H-1B visa holders during a digital town hall meeting organized by NBC News on Asian-American and People of the Pacific Islands (AAPI) issues. He said President Trump terminated the H-1B visa for the rest of this year, but that would not happen in my administration.

Biden said that 'people on company visas have built this country'. He also called Trump's immigration policies cruel. Describing India as a 'natural partner', Biden also said that if he wins the elections, he will strengthen relations with India and that will be his top priority.

Biden has also said about India's importance in America's national security. He said, "This strategic partnership is essential and important in our security." He further said that I am proud of the role played in the US-India civil nuclear agreement in our administration nearly a decade ago.
