According to the information, the information was received by the police that a woman is running a sex racket in her home in Ward no. 4. On the basis of the information, a special team was constituted under the leadership of Deputy SP Govind Ratan and SHO Ejaz Haider and the team raided the suspected area in the presence of the magistrate and the female constable.
During this time, the police found a person and two women in an awkward situation, who were arrested. One of the women is resident of Sankari village of Rajori and currently living in the ward of Rajori no. 4, where she was running racket from some time. The second arrested woman is resident of Bhera village, whereas the person is a resident of Muradpur area of Rajori and owns a shop in Panja Chowk area of the city.
Confirming the matter, SSP Jugal Manhas told that the police has registered an FIR case. During the initial investigation, some other names have also emerged, which are directly and indirectly included in the sex racket and the police will soon arrest them.
