During the 42nd Annual General Meeting of Reliance Industries Limited (RIL), the company's chairman and managing director Mukesh Ambani informed that free LED TV and 4K set top box with FHD resolution will be provided along with Geofiber's Forever plan. In addition, customers can also select free home computers. Commercial launch of Jio GigaFiber was done during the AGM and it was told that it will be made available from 5 September 2019.
Jio GigaFiber will be made available to customers from 5 September. At present, complete information in this context was not given by Mukesh Ambani but it was told that free TV will be given to the customers who adopt the long-term GigaFiber plan. This plan has been named as 'Jio Fiber Welcome Plan'.
At present, no information has been given about the brand of LED TV given to the customers. Also, this information is also not clear whether the TV will be made completely available for free, or security deposit will have to be given for this. Ambani has said that free TV will be part of the Jio Welcome offer for Jio GigaFiber users.
Talk about the GeoGigaFiber service in detail, will be made available commercially from 5 September 2019. GeogigaFiber plans will start from Rs 700 per month and these plans will be up to Rs 10,000. Here customers will get speeds from 100Mbps to 1Gbps.
The most important thing is that premium customers of Jio GigaFiber will enjoy watching the movie sitting at home on the day of the release of any film.
