Recently JioFiber was announced during the AGM. This announcement has created panic in the Indian broadband market. While plans have not yet been announced by Reliance Jio, the rival companies are making all efforts to maintain a hold among the customers in every way. In this episode, many efforts are also being made by the government telecom company BSNL. The company has introduced a new offer for its broadband users.
BSNL initially started offering Amazon Prime to subscribers who buy monthly plans of Rs 745 or more. But later the company changed the offer and told the users that in broadband plans of Rs 499 or below, customers will get Amazon Prime subscription, although these conditions will be included.
BSNL has changed the cashback scheme of its broadband plans. Amazon Prime Membership is now being given here. BSNL is offering 25% cashback in broadband plans. These plans include DSL, Bharat Fiber and BBoWiFi. New or old BSNL customers who buy broadband plan below Rs 900 will get cashback offer and Amazon Prime Membership. These include plans below Rs. 499.
BSNL is giving 15 percent cashback in plans below Rs 499, 20 percent cashback in plans of Rs 499 to 900 rupees and 25 percent cashback on plans above Rs 900. In such a situation, the customers who take the same plan for 12 months i.e. one year will get cashback offer and if the customer takes the plans at the price mentioned above then they will get Amazon Prime Membership free.
This means that the customers who take broadband for one year will get 25 percent cashback and Amazon Prime Membership free for Rs 999. Let us tell you, Amazon Prime Membership gets Amazon Prime Video, Amazon Music, fast product shipping and early access to deals.
