The Bollywood film industry has been on social media since the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput. Even parliamentarian Ravi Kishan has raised questions about drugs in Bollywood. However in the meantime, SP MP and actress Jaya Bachchan has been dazed after blasts of talks on Bollywood. She said that I am ashamed of what a member of the Lok Sabha associated with industry said in the Lok Sabha yesterday, taking a dig at BJP MP Ravi Kishan. Some people are ‘piercing the plate in which they eat.’

Raising this issue in the Rajya Sabha on Tuesday amidst criticism of Bollywood in Zero Hour, the Hindi film industry employs millions of people. It is being called the ‘gutter’ on the social media . Jaya Bachchan said that whenever there is a problem in the country, most Bollywood people stand for help. She said that an actor belonging to the same industry has spoken against the industry. This is quite condemnable.
On Monday, BJP MP Ravi Kishan had raised a drug case in Bollywood and demanded an inquiry into the matter. Jaya Bachchan said without naming him that some people are piercing the plate in which they eat. Jaya said, for a few people, the entire industry cannot be maligned.

BJP MP and actor Ravi Kishan raised the issue of investigation by NCB in the Lok Sabha on Monday regarding the smuggling of drugs from neighboring countries and its consumption by people associated with the film industry and demanded strict action in this direction. Ravi Kishan had raised this issue in the House during the Zero Hour. He said that drug smuggling is happening from Pakistan and China and it is a conspiracy to ruin the young generation of the country.
