In Janjgir-Champa Lok Sabha seat recorded 65 percent voting up till now. This is the first seat of the SC reserved state, probably for the first time, the voting figures reached this level. The Assembly constituency of the State Assembly Speaker Dr. Charn Das Mahant comes in this parliamentary seat.

The party has given the ticket to former MP Parasram Bhardwaj's son Ravi Prakashram Bhardwaj. BJP has betrayed its former MP, Guharam Ajgale, then the BSP has fielded its former state president and ex-MLA Dararam Ratnakar. BSP supremo Mayawati's only General Assembly was held in this seat. It will be known on May 23 that the benefit of record voting on this seat, which is seen in a triangular conflict, will be beneficial.

In this Parliamentary constituency, this time the Congress has a huge margin. The Congress has four out of eight seats. In the remaining four, BJP and BSP have two seats each. In the 2013 assembly elections, the BSP had one, the Congress had two and the BJP had five seats in its palm. The BJP won the Lok Sabha election.
