Indian citizens will soon return

Indian Foreign Minister Dr S Jaishankar says that he is constantly monitoring the situation in Afghanistan. He says that the concern of those wanting to return to India has to be understood, while airport operation will be the biggest challenge in the midst of all this. For which all kinds of discussions are being done. Meanwhile, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Arindam Bagchi has informed that a special Afghanistan cell has been formed to evacuate Indian citizens from Afghanistan.

Jaishankar said in the all-party meeting: Priority to evacuate Indians

According to sources, the meeting was attended by External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar has said that the situation in Afghanistan is not good, the current situation there is very serious. He said that we are busy evacuating our people. The government said that it is constantly trying to bring out the people trapped in Afghanistan. In the meeting, the Foreign Secretary informed all the leaders in detail about the situation there.

The Foreign Minister said that after the Taliban's occupation, 15,000 people have contacted India for evacuation from Afghanistan. At the same time, he said that the promises made by the Taliban in Doha have not lived up to it. He also referred to the US-Taliban agreement in Doha.

At the end of his briefing, the External Affairs Minister said that India is currently following a wait and watch policy on anarchy in Afghanistan. Following his speech, all opposition parties unanimously congratulated the government on the government's position on the crisis in Afghanistan and commended Jaishankar for India's evacuation programme
