A maid doing household chores in Jaipur stole the jewelry and cash kept in the cupboard and escaped late at night after picking up the items A woman who had come to work for five years in a house in the Sanganer area of Jaipur was robbed by her. She stole the cash and gold jewelry kept in the cupboard and fled. Didn't come to work for three days. Then the matter came to light. After this, the wife of the landlord has filed a case at the Sanganer police station.
According to the police, the incident took place at the house of Anjana Gupta, a resident of Gayatri Nagar in Sanganer Jaipur. He told in the report that a woman named Mamta Panchal (42) was coming to his house for the last four-five years for cleaning work. She had last come to work in the house on 15 September. After this, she did not come to work the next day. When Mamta did not come to work for three days, Anjana Gupta tried to contact her on her mobile phone and the phone was found switched off.
On being suspicious, Anjana Gupta opened the cupboard kept in the house and checked it. Then it came to know that one lakh rupees in cash, precious gold chain and ring, many important documents kept in the cupboard were missing. On understanding the matter, she reached Mamta Panchal's room with her husband. where she lived with her son on rent. However, the people of the neighborhood there told that Mamta Panchal has left the room after packing the luggage. She left around 2 pm on 15th September itself.
Then a call was made on the mobile of Mamta's son working in a private hospital in Pratap Nagar. He also did not answer the phone. Anjana Gupta reached the Sanganer police station and lodged a case after not getting contact with Mamta Panchal and her son. Whose investigation has been handed over to ASI Bhavani Singh.
