The entire jail is on high alert after the convicts of the Central Jail are found corona infected. 14 detainees  in the barracks along with the infected have been quarantined in the special barracks.  More than two dozen people, including detainees and staff, have been sampled for investigation.  On Friday, DIG Jail Luv Kumar inspected the Quarantine barrack and interacted with the detainees.  Instructed the jail authorities and the doctor to prepare a report of detainees with cough, cold and fever.

So that they can be kept in separate barracks.  Along with this, he asked for constant sanitization in the jail premises.  The prisoner, who was sentenced to life imprisonment in the murder case from Jhansi, was shifted to Central Jail in December last year.  Four days ago, a prisoner suffering from brain stroke was admitted to SN Medical College where he was diagnosed with a corona test. After this, the jail administration sent 14 detainees living in the barrack with conviction to a special barrack in Quarantine.  Apart from this, more than a dozen people of the captive guards and staff have also been quarantined.

At the same time, thermal screening of employees and officers is being done before entering the prison premises.  On Friday, DIG Jail Luv Kumar inspected.  He gave instructions to the jail authorities after inspecting the Quarantine barracks.  According to the DIG, detainees who came in contact with the Corona-infected convict have been kept in the Quarantine barrack.  Along with this, some employees have also been quarantined.  The barrack where the captive was kept.  There are three meters of beds, reducing the number of detainees there.  The prisoners have been asked to use the mask continuously, remove it only at bedtime.  They have been given sufficient amounts of soap to wash their hands.  Apart from this, the doctors of the jail are doing thermal screening of the prisoners every day.  It has been asked to prepare reports of detainees with cough-fever and cold.  So that they can be kept in separate barracks.
