Actress Janhvi Kapoor was shooting for the film ‘Good Luck Jerry’ in Patiala, and the entire team of the film faced protests from farmers on Saturday. The agitating farmers strongly opposed this shooting. Due to which the production house was soon forced to shoot the film.
Farmers chanted Slogans ‘Go back Janhvi’
The protesting farmers expressed their displeasure over the shooting of the film and demanded that the shooting should stopped. Not only this, all the farmers gathered and suddenly attacked the place of shooting and also raised slogans of ‘Janhvi Kapoor Go Back’.
Seeing the situation worsening, Janhvi Kapoor and the entire unit of the film had to return to their hotels. At the same time, soon after getting the information about the demonstration, a police team immediately reached the spot and took over the situation.

Administration held a meeting to pacify the farmers
Janhvi’s film Good Luck Jerry is a remake of South film Kolamavu Kokila. In which Janhvi is playing the role of an ordinary girl. For the past several days, the film was being shot at many places in Patiala. At the same time, according to sources, yet another unit is going to reach Patiala in a few days for the shooting of the film.
Keeping their safety in mind, the administration is also keeping a close watch on everyone. For this, the district police also held a meeting with other administration officials late in the evening. But to stop the farmers, a meeting will be held on Monday. Apart from this, two other Bollywood films teams are also planning to shoot in Punjab.
