The ITBP jawan has been arrested by the police for allegedly molesting a woman in the Lahaul Valley. After this incident, there is huge anger in the people of the valley and demanded strict action against the accused under the SC-ST Act. The police have arrested the accused with a camp located in Carga.
According to information received from the police, the woman lodged a complaint against Himachal's ITB jawan at Keylong police station with her husband. After registering the case, police has arrested ITB jawan from his camp.
The people of the valley have considered this as a shameful incident. DSP of Keylong Sushant Sharma said that as soon as the case was registered, the police arrested the accused under Section 354 A and started investigating.
The Lahaul Spiti Police Administration is also not ready to speak further to the media on this incident. The people of the valley say that if strict action has not been taken against the accused then they will be writing a letter about this to Himachal's Chief Minister and Police Chief.
