Due to the ever-increasing cases of corona virus, this year's Olympics are under threat. The Olympics 2020 is to be held in Tokyo from July 24 to August 9. However, the Prime Minister of Japan has expressed confidence that the tournament will be held as per schedule. There will be no trouble in organizing it and every effort will be made to deal with Corona.
18-year-old female Indian shooter Manu Bhaker, who is considered a strong contender for the medal at the Tokyo Olympics, is not thinking about things that are beyond her control. Bhaker said, "Trials, competitions should be postponed to the present situation as there are other very important things to deal with it.
She said that the shooters are following the protocols and guidelines issued by the concerned entities. Bhaker said, "We are strictly following the instructions of the Ministry of Health and the guidelines of the World Health Organization."
She is one of the few shooters who took part in the recently held trials of the National Rifle Association of India (NRAI). Bhakar said, 'The situation in the camp was good as there were few shooters. There was not much crowd and it was only for three days. '
Bhaker was asked about the Olympic Games on which uncertainties are hovering, so she said, 'I am resting at home. In the current situation, my preparedness and mentality have not been affected. I am continuing my yoga session and meditation. It helps me to remain at peace. Whenever the Olympics take place they will be important, so we have to be ready. I am preparing for the Olympics as per the plan.
