Chief's Sivan on Wednesday informed About the Gaganyan Mission and Chandrayaan-3 by ISRO . He said that work on Chandrayaan-3 has started at full speed. Regarding the Gaganyaan mission, the ISRO Chief said, "4 astronauts have been selected for this and will go to Russia for training by the end of this month." In 1984, Rakesh Sharma went to the moon through Russian Module but this time Indian astronauts will go from India to Indian Module. '

The ISRO Chief was asked whether ISRO is considering sending manned missions to the Moon? To this he replied, "Not now but it will happen someday."

Earlier this month, Sivan said that the configuration of Chandrayaan-3 is very similar to that of Chandrayaan-2 but the new mission will have a rover with propulsion module. In Chandrayaan-2 we had orbiter, lander and rover configuration. He further stated that the cost for Chandrayaan-3 would be around Rs 250 crore while the launch price would be around Rs 350 crore.
