Between the possibilities of change in the government and the organization, even leadership changes are being discussed loudly at both levels. However, experts do not see any major change in spite of this.

In the midst of all this, an important name in the politics of UP has again come into the limelight, which was introduced in the politics of UP like a meteorite four months ago. The possibility of big change was also expressed through them. This name is Arvind Kumar Sharma, a former bureaucrat and considered very close to Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Who is Arvind Kumar Sharma?

Sharma had resigned in January this year, just a few days before his retirement. After this he joined the BJP and on seeing him, the BJP sent him to the House through the Legislative Council. Because of this, a discussion arose in the political circles that preparations for a 'big change' were being made in the state government.

Political observers have even said that Arvind Sharma can also be made the Chief Minister. However, discussions of becoming a cabinet minister with important portfolios like his deputy CM or home were done in a more credible manner.

The reason for this imaginary change was stated directly that it was intended to reduce the influence of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath or to curb his alleged arbitrary working style. But despite the passage of four months, Arvind Sharma was neither given a place in the Council of Ministers nor any other important responsibility.

Yogi directly challenged Modi?

A senior BJP leader in UP, on the condition of anonymity, says, "The Chief Minister has clearly said that it is difficult to make Arvind Sharma even a cabinet minister, except for any important department. He will give him anything more than a minister of state." This move of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is being seen as directly defying and challenging Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

A senior leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party in Delhi says that 'the central leadership of the party often reminds Yogi Adityanath that because of them he has become the Chief Minister, when given the opportunity, does not spare any effort to express that Narendra Modi, he is the only alternative to the Prime Minister in the BJP.

Many BJP leaders also accept the fact that often by some people projecting Yogi Adityanath as an alternative to Modi or by some scattered organizations and people on social media or elsewhere, Yogi Adityanath's close people also have a hand behind running campaigns like "PM Kaisa Ho, Yogi ji jaisa ho'.

Does Yogi have RSS support?

Senior journalist Yogesh Mishra explains the support of RSS behind Yogi's power. He says, "UP is a big state. The chief minister here starts seeing himself as the next prime minister. Be it leaders of regional parties or BJP. Second, there is a union with Yogi Adityanath. Despite all the protests It was because of the Sangh that he became the Chief Minister and still he is the choice of the Sangh. The RSS does not consider the move to send Arvind Sharma here like a parachute.

The BJP government under the leadership of Yogi Adityanath in Uttar Pradesh is now almost completing its term, but the fears of changing the Chief Minister directly in the state have never been seen in the last four years as much as they seem today, or rather, before such discussions.

Whether it has often been a case of the government being surrounded by law and order or it has been a case of a large number of angry BJP MLAs sitting on dharna in the assembly.

Senior journalist Siddharth Geelhans says that this is the first time in the last four years that some ministers are being called individually and feedback is being taken in the meetings of the RSS and BJP organization.

According to him, "This is not a minor thing. The kind of complaints of ministers, MLAs that they are not given any importance, only a few selected officers are running the entire government, so it is certain that Yogi Adityanath's working style The churning has started in the Sangh as well as in the BJP.It is also true that Yogi Adityanath also keeps realizing his power. Now this is the situation that BJP is not able to remove Yogi and I am not even able to muster the courage to contest the next election under his leadership."

What is the reason for unhappiness?

No leader or spokesperson in BJP is ready to say anything about Yogi Adityanath's attitude in Arvind Sharma case, but everyone is accepting that all is not well in the party. Ministers and MLAs, who have made public their displeasure with Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, are also shying away from talking about the issue but tell a lot on the condition of anonymity.

One such MLA said, "The central leadership is very unhappy with the working style of the state government during the Kovid transition. Publicly, even though efforts were made to manage this episode, the subsequent meetings are the result of this. Panchayat elections." Yogi is on the backfoot even with the results of this."

Last week, Dattatreya Hosbale, the head of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, had also come to Lucknow to gauge the political pulse of UP. Three days before this, Dattatreya Hosabale had an important meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, BJP National President JP Nadda to discuss the political climate of Uttar Pradesh in Delhi.

UP BJP organization minister Sunil Bansal also attended this meeting. Neither Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath nor state BJP President Swatantra Dev Singh was called in this important meeting to discuss the politics of UP. If the experts are to be believed, then CM Yogi Adityanath had felt bad about this.

A senior functionary of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, on the condition of anonymity, says, "Hosbale came to Lucknow and Yogi did not meet him despite staying for two days. Ji had gone to Sonbhadra that day so he had to extend his stay. Hosabale ji stayed for the next day also but Yogiji did not come and from there first to Mirzapur and then to Gorakhpur. Hosbale also inquired in his office whether I should stay or Mumbai Should I go? Yogiji didn't get any answer, so he moved from Lucknow to Mumbai.

This development has also been confirmed by some BJP leaders and its direct political meaning is being taken that Yogi Adityanath does not want to be like a rubber stamp of the central government or the central leadership of BJP and also wants to make it clear to the central leadership. Huh.

How powerful is CM Yogi?

Yogesh Mishra says, "Yogi is not an achiever, he is a nominee. The CM's chair has been given to him, the election has not been won in his name. Even he was not a party office-bearer. That's why he is not a challenge to the central leadership." The crisis of the central leadership is that if the UP elections are lost in 2022, it will also affect the Lok Sabha elections to be held in the year 2024. After losing West Bengal, this fear has increased further. No one can take any risk in the assembly elections."

However, some political observers also say that there are neither too many MLAs nor ministers in favor of Yogi Adityanath, nor does the Sangh stand with him so strongly that it should favor him in every situation.

The office-bearers of the Sangh have the same complaint about bureaucracy as the MLAs of the party have. According to observers, the party and the Sangh are evaluating through meetings that how much damage can be done by removing Yogi and how can that loss be compensated?

Siddharth Geese says that the strongest aspect of Yogi Adityanath is that he has no personal allegations of corruption and no other personal allegations of any kind. According to him, many other weaknesses are buried in front of this strong side.
