Is the Chinese Communist Party on the Verge of Collapse?

According to human rights experts, for the last 15 years, a grassroots movement has been building up which is peacefully disintegrating the Chinese Communist Party.

Just as the Soviet Communist Empire collapsed overnight in the 90s, is the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) on the verge of collapse? According to human rights experts, for the last 15 years, a Grassroots movement has been building up which is peacefully disintegrating the Chinese Communist Party.

The movement, called "Tuidang or Quit Party", began in 2004 when the New York-based Epoch Times newspaper published an editorial series called "Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party". These articles give an objective and true account of the oppressive history of the 65-year rule of the CCP, during which 6 to 8 crore people died due to various political campaigns.

Since the publication of these articles, a large number of Chinese people are renouncing their membership of the Communist Party. In the last 15 years more ha 32 crore Chinese people have resigned from the membership of the Communist Party.

One of the Greatest Human-Rights Stories
Jeffrey Imm, founder and director of "Responsible for Equality and Liberty" says it is one of the greatest human-rights stories in history. "The world must not surrender to the CCP regime. The Communist regime doesn't intend to limit its control to only China, only to the people it persecutes in the Falun Gong, the Tibetan Buddhists, the Uyghur Muslims, the Christians, minorities, and others. The Chinese Communist Party doesn't plan to stop just there. It plans to target the world".

In China, this movement is being led by about 2 million volunteers putting their lives at risk; most of them are related to Falun Gong spiritual practice.

Falun Gong meditation (also called Falun Dafa) was introduced to the public in China in 1992 by Mr Li Hongzhi. Despite its peaceful nature, Falun Gong's growing popularity began to irk the Chinese communist rulers who banned it in China in 1999. Today, Falun Gong is popular in more than 114 countries, including India, while it is being brutally persecuted in China.

Forced Organ Harvesting in China
In the last few years, China has emerged as a tourism centre for organ transplantation internationally. It seems unbelievable, but in China, organs for transplantation come not only from death row inmates, but from a large number of imprisoned innocent "Falun Gong" practitioners.

Large scale illegal money is being made in this crime of human organ transplant in China. It has come to light through independent investigations (www.endtransplantabuse.org) that the Chinese government is involved in the crime of illegal human organ harvesting of prisoners, in connivance with government hospitals.

On the evidence of the news of the killing of Falun Gong practitioners for organ harvesting in China many countries have started taking strict measures since 2006. The governments of Australia, Taiwan, Spain, Israel and Italy banned tourism for organ harvesting for their citizens in China. The American Congress passed an order to prevent the practice of organ harvesting of prisoners in China by Bill H.Res.281. In 2013, the European Parliament passed a bill to stop the practice of illegal human organ harvesting in China.

How It Matters to India
Relations between India and China have been strained for some time. China has been resorting to controversial issues, such as extending support to the alleged terrorist Masood Azhar, Arunachal Pradesh ownership issues , Doklam dispute etc. to put pressure on India. But China itself stands at the crossroads today. On the one side is the Chinese Communist Party, which has a history of lies, deceit and fraud. On the other hand there are voices of democracy and secularism.  In this context, the news of the disintegration of the Chinese Communist Party can have its repercussions and is of great significance to India.

The Chinese Communist Party's beliefs and policies contradict everything that an ancient culture like India and modern democracy represents. China has a lot to learn from India. India should condemn the human rights violations in China. India needs to play a decisive role to end illegal human organ harvesting crimes in China. This thinking can give India the stance of a world leader. We are eager to see India stand in favour of humanity and stand on the right side of history.
