Uttarakhand's first match in Ranji Trophy is going to start on Monday with Jammu and Kashmir. The legendary cricketer Irfan Pathan will not be seen playing for the Jammu and Kashmir team. This has been confirmed by Irfan Pathan himself. Pathan not playing for Jammu and Kashmir team is a relief news for the Uttarakhand team. The Ranji Trophy will be played from December 9 between Uttarakhand and Jammu and Kashmir at the Abhimanyu Cricket Academy. Both teams practiced on Sunday. The players of Jammu and Kashmir team reached the ground at 11.30 am and practiced till about 2 pm. The Uttarakhand team also spent time on the net. Both teams are considering this match as very important. J&K will have a challenge to prove itself by winning against Uttarakhand. Uttarakhand team captain Unmukt Chand stayed away from practice on Sunday. Experts said that Unmukt has a cold, due to which he needs rest and did not participate in the net practice.
