IPL can be Held without Audience, But T20 World cup can’t: Glenn Maxwell

Australian all-rounder Glenn Maxwell wanted to return to competitive cricket with this season of Indian Premier League, as he struggled with injury. Glenn Maxwell was also bought by the Kings XI Punjab team for the 13th season of IPL, but the Coronavirus spoiled the game. IPL 2020 was yet to begin, but the league was postponed due to the Coronavirus.

It is being said that if the IPL is held this year, it will be held without audience, because social distancing will be taken care of. The exact same thing is being said about the T20 World Cup to be held in Australia this year, that this tournament will be held behind closed doors i.e. in an empty stadium.

At the same time, the Kangaroo team's dashing all-rounder Glenn Maxwell does not agree that the big tournament can be held without an audience. Glenn Maxwell believes that the IPL may be held without a spectator, but the T20 World Cup will not do well without audience, as it is a world-class tournament. If there are no spectators, then Australia will not enjoy much of the tournament anywhere.
