IOM’s Warning about Afghanistan may be a Big Danger for Asia

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) warning about Afghanistan has caused trouble for other Asian countries, including India.  This warning states that Afghanistan may become a new hub of the corona virus in the coming times.  If this apprehension is true, India will need to be aware of it from now on.  Before proceeding further, let us tell you that 604,028 cases of Coronavirus have been reported in Asia, out of which 255,744 are active cases while 327,457 patients have been cured.  20,827 patients have died of this deadly virus in Asia.  Turkey is currently the most affected country.  A total of 131,744 cases have been reported and 3,584 have died. Talking about the top 10 countries of Asia, these are followed by Iran, China, India, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Singapore, Qatar, Israel and UAE after Turkey.

In the IOM warning given to Afghanistan, it has also been said that about 80 percent of the country's population can be vulnerable.  Let us tell you that 3,392 people have been infected with Kovid in Afghanistan and 104 people have died.  According to IOM, the number of its patients is increasing rapidly.  This is much higher than the proportion of other countries of the world. Let us also tell you that the population of Kabul is about 50 to 70 lakhs where Afghanistan has been facing terrorism for years.  This country is included in the poor countries of Asia.  Talking about 50 countries of Asia, Afghanistan is at number 49 in terms of GDP.  Afghanistan, which has been facing the fire of war for years, is financially badly broken.

There is a huge shortage of personal protective equipment.  In view of this, the World Health Organization provided PPE in lakhs of people last month.  Apart from this, financial assistance has also been provided to Afghanistan.  Significantly, its development has been severely damaged by fundamentalists in Afghanistan.  Along with this, the Taliban and other terrorist organizations have also caused economic damage to it.  In the time of the Taliban, all rights of women were abolished.  But after the overthrow of the Taliban, women have breathed in the open again.  Technically, Afghanistan is not fully capable of dealing with this epidemic. He will need the help of other countries.  At the same time, people coming and going from Afghanistan, which includes borders, especially Pakistan, have to be closely monitored.
