Apart from this, the city is divided into 25 sectors. 25-25 magistrates have been appointed in two shifts. At the tehsil level, SDM and CO have been ordered to make magistrates by making them sectors. However, the district administration has not given permission to carry out the peace march.

Protests against the Citizenship Amendment Bill also took place at AMU on Thursday for the third day. Students also participated in it. During this meeting, the students of Abdullah Hall accused the probost of stopping them in a meeting held at Bab Syed Gate. The said hall was locked, which has been broken. Swaraj Party's founder Yogendra Yadav and the Gorakhpur Oxygen case's famous Dr. Kafeel Khan supported the students' movement.

Dr. Kafeel said that the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) is not going to follow the constitution but spread the ideology of hate. Dr. Kafeel Khan said that by bringing a cab, Amit Shah is saying that a Hindu will become a Hindu and a Muslim will become a Muslim. Those whose clothes are soaked with blood, what would they understand the constitution of Baba Saheb? Swaraj Party founder Yogendra said that there is nothing special in the citizenship amendment bill. This is only the vote bank politics being done for the Assam-Bengal election. Said that on December 19, cabs will be sworn in by holding similar meetings at different places all over the country.

Dr. Kafeel said that when he was coming to AMU, he received a call from the police-administration not to go to the AMU or else it would be closed. Yogendra Yadav said that, he also got a call from the police and AMU registrar. He too was prevented from going to AMU.
